I'm going to be upgrading the forums to SMF 2.0 RC2 over the next few weeks, and this is a major job which will affect all the pages which have the forum theme.

I will be making a new theme for the forums and installing a few extra for you to choose from. This time you will each have the choice of using either the SMF default, the new Havenworld theme, or a new theme which I will install.

If you have any suggestions for themes please post them here.

The forums will not go down, but will be very different once the upgrade is complete.

I will keep this topic updated with the upgrade status.

I'd recommend testing the installation on a backup of this forum, just to make sure everything is working up to scratch, and you experience no bugs/errors when it comes to the real upgrade.

If/when you work out all the kinks, it should be a great upgrade.

Yeah I'm setting everything up on a different domain and database first because there's no chance that everything will work first time.

When I think it's ready for release, I'll just copy the files over to this domain and everything should continue running flawlessly.
