There's no nuclear power plants, or nuclear bombs in Ireland, so I cannot say much about this, but I personally don't think that much power should be messed with.

i aint to sure to be honest, i mean for the amount of power nuclear power plants realese, very little CO2 is emmited, so for preventing global warming it may help loads but like what loads of people pointed out, nuclear fission makes a load of radioactive waste which is evil and shooting it out to space would cost alot of money
i dont see why chucking it down volcanoes would be that harmful though, the lava would destroy it and chances are the radioactive stuff would end up scattered around the centre of the earth (or around that area, anyway)

well at the moment they are thinking about burying nuclear waste in subduction zones (where tectonic plates meet) so they would end up disintergrating anyway (in the earths mantle/core)
another theory is to dump all the waste at places that are already high in radiation like Bikini atoll or Chernobyl seeing that those places are teeming with radiation after fallout from powerstations (or weapons testing in the case of Bikini atoll, thanks to the USA)

Put it in safe containers and dump it into crevices in the deepest parts of the sea!
